Adelina screams for help, but no one comes. He grabs her and calls her a thief and begins pulling her back. While running through Dalia, she hears her father approaching on horseback. Adelina tells her not to tell their father, and she hugs her before departing. Horrified, Adelina runs back to her room and takes out a bag of valuables, placed there months ago, waiting for the day she'd escape.
